Take Control of Your WEll-Being!

If you struggle with your weight, it is likely that your mental health is contributing to it. We often use “emotional eating” to suppress and soothe how we’re feeling. Stress. Anxiety. DepressionAny one of these mental health challenges is likely contributing to what you eat, how you eat, and how you take care of yourself. In other words, your well-being and your weight directly impact each other.

The Certus WEll-Being Program may hold the answers to help you start feeling better,
looking better, and taking better care of yourself — physically and mentally!

The relationship between mental health and weight gain is complex.

The Certus WEll-Being Program is an integrated support system offered to anyone looking to address the emotional, physical, and behavioral factors that are impacting their weight.

The program’s four elements of support (mental health evaluation and support, therapy created specifically for program participants, fitness, and nutrition resources) are designed to focus on the elements you can use to take control of your weight and improve your overall WEll-Being.

There are no gimmicks with this program, just solutions that, when put into action, will help you feel better emotionally and physically. It will take some work, it will take some time, but if you’re serious about it, you will experience results!

Nutrition

You have to eat! It’s what you eat that makes the difference.

Let’s Get to Work!

STEP 1

Schedule an appointment with a Certus Care Provider to discuss how you are feeling emotionally and physically. We can talk about medications you’re currently taking and look for options for care and treatment that can begin to tackle any challenges you are experiencing. If you already are a Certus patient, TeleHealth visits are possible.

STEP 2

Schedule an appointment with the WEll-Being Therapy Team (Lisa, or Shana) or your primary therapist, and begin your 12-session journey to improving your emotional and physical well-being.

STEP 4

Get moving! We have assembled a comprehensive fitness program, for people of all fitness levels — from beginner to advanced — of fitness videos, that show different exercises you can do at home.

STEP 3

Educate yourself in the materials we have assembled for you to learn about nutrition and your relationship with food. It might surprise how what you eat has a direct impact on how you feel. We have a certified-nutritionist at-the-ready to discuss nutrition plans. NOTE: Appointments with the nutritionist are available for an additional fee.

For optimal results, we recommend you participate in this program over the course of 12 weeks. Care provider visits and therapy sessions may be covered by your insurance. Let us know if you need assistance in learning what your insurance covers.
